Plan-to-model briefing checklist
Prepare the information needed to quote a coordinated architectural presentation without leaving important assumptions unstated.
The reference pack
- Dimensioned floor plans and elevations, with the current revision identified.
- Roof and level information needed to reconstruct the intended form.
- Approved finish references or a list of choices that still need interpretation.
- Project area, location, audience and the specific spaces/elevations to present.
- Branding and the purpose of the images, tour, model or AR experience.
The deliverable decisions
- Still images: number of separately composed views and proposed camera positions.
- Tour: room/viewpoint list, navigation and finish options.
- Miniature: display size, scale, levels, removable parts and delivery destination.
- AR: tabletop or life-size, model availability, devices and placement context.
- Plans: 2D scope or eligible existing-project 3D rendering; identify the project reference.
- Webpage: enquiry destination, functionality, hosting period and support.
A sample enquiry
We are preparing a presentation for one approved detached home. We have dimensioned plans and elevations, a single exterior and interior finish scheme, and builder branding. We need a connected-room tour and a miniature for meetings. Please review Digital + Physical, identify missing references and confirm revisions, timing, model scale, delivery and hosting renewal terms.
Before approving the quote
Check that each output has a unit and scope, the drawing version is correct, interpretation is labelled, revisions and timing are agreed, and hosting or delivery conditions are explicit. Do not assume a sample image establishes fabrication accuracy or a promised business result.
