Which presentation format do you need?
A buyer’s guide to choosing still images, tours, physical models and AR by the decision they support.
Match the format to the decision
| Format | Best question to answer | Inputs & constraints | Choose something simpler when… |
|---|---|---|---|
| Still rendering | How will this facade or room look? | Approved camera, drawings and finishes. One image cannot show every spatial relationship. | A clear 2D plan already answers the layout question. |
| 360-degree tour | How do the rooms connect and feel? | Room list, viewpoints and finish scheme. Hosting and method must be agreed. | The layout is still changing or only one view is needed. |
| Physical miniature | How does the whole form fit together? | Measured references, scale and display needs. Fine details may need simplification. | Remote access or fast design changes are the priority. |
| AR | How can I place and explore this model? | Suitable digital model, compatible device and placement review. Tracking is not survey accuracy. | The ordinary 3D viewer communicates the idea without camera access. |
A useful combination
For an agreed home design, use a still to establish the exterior, a plan to orient the buyer, a tour to explain room relationships and a miniature for a shared table discussion. Add AR when the ability to place the model serves the presentation. Commission only the formats that answer a real question.
Compare costs on equal terms
A view, home, model, property and option set are different pricing units. Compare deliverables, input completeness, revision allowance, hosting and eligibility alongside the price. The six package images are selected from an approved tour; they are not equivalent to six separately composed stills.
