Architectural model scale calculator
Convert a real-world length into an approximate miniature dimension at your chosen scale. Use a measured source dimension, not a visual estimate from a rendering.
Known examples
10 metres = 10,000 mm. At 1:50, the result is 200 mm; at 1:100, it is 100 mm. One foot is 304.8 mm and one inch is 25.4 mm. Apply the calculation separately to width, depth and height.
What the result does not tell you
This is a geometric size estimate. It does not establish printable wall thickness, detail legibility, removable-part tolerances, printer fit, finish or shipping requirements. Those need review against the actual model and production method.
